About Robot Notecards

Robot Notecards exists to make genuine, handwritten mail something you can send at any scale. Email inboxes are crowded and easy to ignore. A real card in the mailbox is not — physical mail sees open rates of around 95%, far higher than the roughly 20% typical of email.

The catch has always been effort. Writing, addressing, stuffing, stamping, and mailing hundreds or thousands of cards by hand simply doesn't scale. So we built robots that do it for you.

How it works

Our machines grip an actual ballpoint pen and write each card letter by letter — exactly the way a person would, with subtle natural variation so no two cards look identical. Then every card is stuffed into an envelope, stamped, and handed to USPS.

• Upload contacts — add a single recipient or import a CSV with thousands. Merge fields personalize each card automatically.
• Write once — type your message with merge fields like {{first_name}}; up to 320 characters per card.
• We write & mail — real ballpoint pen, stuffed, stamped, and shipped within three business days. Envelope and postage are always included.
