Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Robot Notecards, including robotnotecards.com and our application (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

The service

Robot Notecards writes physical notecards using automated machines and a real ballpoint pen, then stuffs, stamps, and mails them on your behalf. Cards currently ship to United States addresses only.

Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for maintaining the security of your credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Orders, pricing, and payment

• Pricing is per card and includes the card, envelope, and postage. Volume discounts apply as shown on our pricing page.
• Prices may change, but changes will not affect orders already placed.
• You authorize us to charge your selected payment method for the orders you submit.
• Because cards are custom-produced and mailed, orders generally cannot be canceled or refunded once production has begun. Contact us promptly if there is a problem with your order.

Content you submit

You retain ownership of the messages, recipient lists, and other content you provide. You grant us a limited license to use that content solely to produce and mail your cards. You represent that:

• You have the right to use the content and to mail cards to the recipients you upload.
• You have any necessary consent to contact those recipients.
• Your content is lawful and does not contain hateful, harassing, deceptive, or otherwise prohibited material.

We may decline or cancel any order that violates these Terms or applicable law.

Delivery

We write and ship cards within three business days of your order. Delivery timelines after shipment depend on USPS and vary by destination. We are not responsible for postal delays once cards have been handed to USPS.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to send unlawful, fraudulent, threatening, or harassing mail, to infringe others' rights, or to violate anti-spam, privacy, or marketing laws that apply to physical mail.

Intellectual property

The Service, including our software, branding, and site content, is owned by Robot Notecards and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or branding.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Robot Notecards will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenues. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for the order giving rise to the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Robot Notecards harmless from claims arising out of the content you submit, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Robot Notecards operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
